15 Week Bumpdate #2

Monday, December 15, 2014

This week has been a test of a lot of things. Faith, strength in Bryson and I's relationship and also my mental strength. As many probably know (or have guessed) we received news that something is wrong in this pregnancy.
Either with my sweet little baby, or with me.
We are waiting to disclose all information and really let everyone know what is happening because as of right now, we don't know. We are testing baby first and will be getting additional testing for me once we get the results back (hopefully before Christmas). After talking to our doctor I am hoping (maybe it's a false hope) that something is wrong with me and not with our little. There were many abnormalities in my blood work but only one indictor on the ultrasound itself that someone could be wrong with River.
We are being transferred to a couple different specialists on top of our normal doctor and I have been very pleased with how everything has been handled thus far. My nurse and dr have made sure everything is done in a very timely manner and have been there to answer as many questions as Bryson and I have. The earliest we will get the results is this Saturday but my dr.'s office isn't open then so the soonest will most likely be monday and the latest being a day or two after Christmas. So hopefully it goes by faster than it has been!

How far along? 15 Weeks
Baby is the size of: Orange
Total weight gain: 2 lbs (<-- hopefully water weight!)
Gender: Don't know and we won't know!
Name: River Jayce (what we're leaning towards for a boy or girl)
Maternity Clothes: Not yet :) Not even using a rubber band trick or anything which has been super convenient.
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: I slept like a rock last night and the kids slept in so that was really needed and nice.
Movement: Yes! I felt River last week the day we got the news. It was very much needed. I don't feel it too often but it is a very welcome little kick
Best moment this week: The best moment was probably our Christmas party last night. I didn't think about what has been going on and it was great being surrounded by family and friends just having a great time. And my kids were pretty adorable. :)
Miss Anything: Not really. I have been eating/drinking what I want ( probably why there was a big gain this week haha) but I am trying to do it in moderation.
Belly button in or out? In
Food cravings: Sweets! and fried food haha I'm just glad I am getting my appetite back.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not so much. I will still get sick sometimes at night but I haven't been throwing up recently.
Labor Signs: No, still getting contractions every little bit but I am kind of just getting used to them.
Symptoms: Tired. Very, very tired. I have also been feeling hormonal but really, just tired.
Wedding ring on or off? On and big.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I have been pretty melancholy this past week.
Looking forward to: Our test results! But those probably won't be until after the next update.

Here's a little something to make your day awesome. Someone has to help me test light!
