39 Weeks, It's Been Real.

Sunday, July 21, 2013

Well everyone, it's the end of the road. This week marks the last of my Dr's appts (Tuesday) and the last of being pregnant (Thursday)! Tuesday we'll decide if I'm going to be induced on Thursday! I really didn't want to be induced because I was with Logan and I wanted to see the difference BUT my family is all going out of town on the first to go to my aunts wedding. The choice wasn't hard, have them here or be worried they were going to miss it.  So crazy that it went so fast! I should say fast besides this week. When my Dr said he didn't think I'd make it to my next appointment each and every day has drug on and on and on and...well you get the point. Yet, here we are one, more week in!
Let me give you a little update on where we're at right now, to do that we need to take a step back to Tuesday (insert time warp music here) On Tuesday I had a Dr appt where he checked me and I was at 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced, since I was further along than the week prior I had my membranes stripped thinking I would go into labor asap, no such luck. On the bright side of not going into labor I won the bet against my hubby! He was sure we would have our little man by the 19 and I was a little more on the skeptical side. Today's the 21st and guess who's getting sushi!!! After I have him of course.
Also this week we went on our Due Date Date! We went to dinner and had yummy (cooked) sushi and some frozen yogurt then came home and spent the night watching movies :)

Aweee, my last maternity pictures!

How far along? 39 Weeks
Baby is the size of: A watermelon....I have been eating enough watermelon that he may just be one
Total weight gain: -4lbs
Gender: It’s a boy!
Name: Foster Brady Ballard
Maternity Clothes: Even maternity clothes are uncomfortable.
Stretch marks? Just the ones from with Logan but they look very bluck.
Movement: Yep, he's trying to escape through my side.
Best moment this week: Our date night was pretty fun and yesterday we went and just laid in my parents pool, which was SO nice because my back feels like it's going to break. I should say I laid down and Bryson played
Miss Anything: Energy to do things.
Belly button in or out? Out
Food cravings: Fruit
Anything making you queasy or sick: Certain smells make me sick and every once in awhile I get nauseous for no reason.
Labor Signs: Just normal Braxton Hicks, tons of cramping and lots of back pain
Symptoms: Lots of pressure and achiness.  And the lovely swelling.
Wedding ring on or off? On :) yay! Kept it till the end
Happy or Moody most of the time: Anxious!
Looking forward to: Tuesday/Thursday

My handsome hubby. I think he can't wait for our little boy!

I'm thinking I'll write Logan's Birth Story this week. Yes, I know she's three but I think it's time to finally write it! Maybe that's what I'll do today....

I bet your anxious! Take it from me, enjoy it while you can :) two is a lot different than one especially when they're far apart in age :) My sister is pregnant and about as far along as you :) She's having a girl (proud aunty) Congrats on your little man!
