I am in LOVE with this dress. Honestly, I am in love with anything ASOS that arrives on my doorstep. It is so easy to dress up or dress down but my favorite way is with a pair of black leggings. We are in full swing getting ready for Christmas around here, and by that I mean basically nothing is done. I was on the ball with getting gifts this year and then, before I knew it Christmas was here! I should probably get gifts wrapped tomorrow ;) Any other procrastinator moms/dads out there? I cannot be the only one :) 

I am SO excited for Christmas but my hubby and I share the feeling of being bummed that's it's here already because we just don't want it to pass. Right now we are catching up on the most recent SNL, working a little bit and, obviously, blogging. I will not see you beautiful people again until after Christmas so have a very merry Christmas! 

Mornings and Despicable Me

Mornings at our house vary from day to day but, for the most part, 75% of our family are morning people. (Dad is obviously the 25%) Lo and Foster are always sweet to each other and play really well. However, Lo has been at her dads since Thursday and will be there until Christmas Eve. So now mornings consist of Foster waking up and immediately transforming into a puppy; complete with biting, licking and woofing, diaper change, "Na" (Snack) but then what? I could let him terrorize the house....it's still a mess from doing that yesterday...Or I could pop in Fosters current favorite movie Despicable Me and have at least 30 minutes to myself.

Now what I do with those 30 minutes is a whole other story. It typically doesn't consist of showering...when that does happen I can just throw him in with me anyways, today it will consist of getting dressed and getting the house picked up so I can start wrapping Christmas presents before Bryson gets home from work. 

We have watched Despicable Me probably 586 times in the past couple of months so in honor of that I wanted to go over some things  I love/hate about Gru and his bratty kids. 

Makeover With Aspen --> Aspen Kelty Marie

Makeover With Aspen had a HUGE makeover! Not only a completely new design but a name change as well! It was time for a little organization and clean up. Everything is the same just a little neater :) There really isn't much to update on! Just wanted to share it's still the same blog, nothing is changing-besides the name and layout ;) and I'll still sporadically post about the same random things :) 

What I {Ate} Wednesday

Yesterday all I managed to keep down was 1/4 cup of chicken noodle soup juice, two crackers and a piece of burnt-Bryson say's I can't call my toast "toast" anymore because I burn it, not toast it. In honor of feeling better, and it being Wednesday, I thought I would share some of my normal food picks from last month. I haven't been cooking because I have felt completely awful these past four months so food at our house has been boring. I am 15 weeks now and slowwwwllllyyyy starting to feel better, so I'm sure there will be more yummy meals and recipes in the future.

(12 week ultrasound)

If you read yesterdays post  you saw that we were waiting on test results. They must've been trying to get as many done before Christmas as possible because we received them in 6 days instead of the usual 10-14. I'll start from the beginning so you can get all caught up on what has been going on these past couple of weeks. 

15 Week Bumpdate #2

This week has been a test of a lot of things. Faith, strength in Bryson and I's relationship and also my mental strength. As many probably know (or have guessed) we received news that something is wrong in this pregnancy. 

Either with my sweet little baby, or with me. 

We are waiting to disclose all information and really let everyone know what is happening because as of right now, we don't know. We are testing baby first and will be getting additional testing for me once we get the results back (hopefully before Christmas). After talking to our doctor I am hoping (maybe it's a false hope) that something is wrong with me and not with our little. There were many abnormalities in my blood work but only one indictor on the ultrasound itself that someone could be wrong with River. 

We are being transferred to a couple different specialists on top of our normal doctor and I have been very pleased with how everything has been handled thus far. My nurse and dr have made sure everything is done in a very timely manner and have been there to answer as many questions as Bryson and I have. The earliest we will get the results is this Saturday but my dr.'s office isn't open then so the soonest will most likely be monday and the latest being a day or two after Christmas. So hopefully it goes by faster than it has been! 

Getting Ready for Christmas

Before I say anything I just have to say that I am 100% positive that I have the most adorable little munchkins in the entire universe. As of today the house is decorated - but not vacuumed, clothes are put away - but there is quite a few to clean and I am ready for every Christmas party except ours. I thought I would take a break from finals and get these adorable Christmas pictures up before it was New Years. 

11 Week Bumpdate #2

We are at week 11! When you have two kids and are constantly going, going, time just gets away from you! Lo started girl scouts this week and Foster has just been on the move. We are pretty sure he has two more teeth coming in. He's been chewing on everything and drooling a ton. Also fussy, which is really not like him. With Foster pregnancy flew by as well but I was still able to take an afternoon nap, there is definitely not that luxury this time around! Oh well, hopefully it just makes this part fly by. I am not a good pregnant person haha I definitely don't enjoy it.

Sometimes I want everything on there and other times I have a hard time finding one thing that I actually like. Today was definitely a hit! 

While coping with the time change and being up at four in the morning I was editing pictures and doing a little online shopping. I found some finds that I am super excited about and thought I would share! 

Bountiful Baskets {Review}

We finally have a Bountiful Baskets in my home town! I have been waiting for one to open up here and it's amazing! You can buy up to three baskets ($15 each for all of the food) but for the first time I just wanted to see what all was in it and the quality of the food. I was super pleased! The only downside is you don't get to pick what you get but I have ideas for pretty much everything! Except the radishes...do people really eat radishes? 

Everything we got is in good shape and some of it isn't ripe yet so it will last awhile. I will definitely get 3 baskets next time,  I would save over $90 that way! Win. Win. Win.

They come every two weeks and it's always different foods but is always 50% fruits and 50% veggies. I was hoping we would get some potatoes/carrots so I could make some soup but we still have a lot of different things and with the money that we save it's no problem picking a couple of things up from the store.
