What I {ATE} Wednesday

I've been deciding whether or not to start this new post series call What I Wednesday. I'll post what I {LOVE} {ATE} {WORE} and who knows what else! I thought first I'd just go over a quick day of what I normally eat. 

I eat anywhere from 800-1500 calls a day and some days are freakin killer and others could use some work but I enjoy food and I'd rather eat good food and be happy than dry salad and be that person. 
You can't even pretend to like dry salad.
It's gross. 

I always start off my morning with some type of juice. It's normally very green but sometimes I like to mix it up with a little more fruit. 

With my juice I will normally have some type of smoothie. Berry, watermelon, banana, strawberry, date...it really doesn't matter just something for me to sip on the next hour or so. 

I normally don't snack in-between breaky and lunch but today I had a newborn shoot so while I was prepping I ate a pair. Some shoots take 2 hours and others take 4 (and my house is smokin' hot) so I always like to snack when I have a shoot.

Lunch is typically some type of salad or salad equivalent. I really like to keep it light during the days. I have a ton of salad toppings and lettuce types (weeds-as my daughter calls it). I absolutely LOVE the Marie salad dressings. They are pretty decent for you and the fat is really low...and they're super creamy...I just love them. 

I always need a snack in-between lunch and dinner. I love to munch on FROZEN fruit, no that is not sugar. I keep a ton of different types of frozen fruit in the freezer for smoothies and it's the perfect sweet snack, especially on these mega hot New Mexico days. 

Another thing I have daily is at least one of these Ice waters. Sometimes I have up to four...whoops. 
There is basically nothing but a couple of nutrients in them so I never feel bad drinking them. 

Night is really when I splurge. I eat whatever we are having (tonight it was pizza because I'm going out of town in the morning) and I like something sweet right before bed. Sometimes I'll have a glass of wine or a cider.

But that's pretty much it! I keep it light during the day because I know at night is when I will want to snack. Thanks for tuning in to the first of many What I Wednesdays!
