Enjoying Life Lately

Thursday, April 17, 2014

I have been a little absent from blogging lately and I'm not even going to apologize for it! Life has been so busy lately that I just hang out with the family whenever we're all home together and just totally soak it all up. So while I have a quick minute I thought I would update everyone on our life lately!

Dinner Recipe:

Ingreds

1 whole Pineapple, sliced and diced
1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
1 Yellow Bell Pepper, sliced
1 Orange Bell Pepper, sliced
2 Green Bell Peppers, sliced

Recipe

1) Marinate peppers and pineapple together in a ziplock back with your choice of seasoning we did a steak sauce and a dash of low sodium soy sauce.
2) Grill peppers in foil and pineapple directly on grill for 40 minutes. Flip once

Serve over brown rice

So life lately, where to begin?

Bryson:

Started his month long vacation on Monday. With the amount of naps, kids and drawing time he is getting in I would say it is going pretty good so far

We have 90% of the stuff in for the juice bus and not it's just a matter of getting it running 100% (without the battery attached) and then getting it all installed and approved. Good thing he is on his vacation, it gives him plenty of time to work on it.

He has almost finished and AMAZING drawing and wants to start a pretty awesome one soon. (Pictures to come)

Me:

School is almost done (hallelujah) I have busted my butt this semester and for the most part it's showing. My math class is totally kicking my butt which is crazy for me because I love math. My other three classes are going  great though.

Photography out the wazoo. I have done 15 shoots the past two weeks and have more scheduled this weekend and next week. If you'd like to see my work you can check out my page here.

That's literally all I do haha
School, pictures, repeat.

We have been looking into options on our house as well which is really exciting news but I'm not going to jinx it!

Foster:

He has been learning to stand, ramming people with his walker, clapping and lots, lots more! You all will get to hear more about him in his nine month update coming up soon. (where has the time gone?!)

Lo:

Lo has been busy being herself. She's always "exasperated" and I think she is super ready for a break from all mom and dads crazyness. She is also almost done with school. I think she gets out the same day that I do (or around there).

So yeah! I hope you all enjoyed our little update! I have a very special giveaway coming soon and a lot of updates and just a whole lot of special things

XOXO

Your grill looks like our grill! I love fruit and veggies like that, it breaks up the monotony of eating it raw! Happy weekend!

I am loving your healthy recipes! My husband would feel the lack of animal protein in there, though. Do you ever include a protein?
