Bathtub Finger Paints

Monday, April 28, 2014

Yesterday was a very gloomy day in our little town so we decided to do a little craft! It took about five minutes to put together and the littles had a blast. We made bathtub Finger Paints! This is a super easy thing to make and you really can't mess it up. Not to mention it smells yummy and if your baby will let you wash them after wards it will clean itself up. Foster would not stop eating it and I just let him, a little baby shampoo never hurt anyone.

Ingreds

For every color you make you need

1 tbs Cornstarch
1/8 cup Baby Shampoo
6-8 drops Food Coloring
1 tps Water

Recipe

1) Mix all ingredient together.
2) Repeat for each color.

I used neon pink food coloring :) I put quite a bit of food coloring in each.

So much fun!! I love the idea of doing it in the bathtub, super easy clean up! We tried an edible finger painting a couple months ago with greek yogurt & kool aid, Cash loved it. I'm still finding spots on our back patio. Maybe I'll do it again but this time in the tub, when it's too hot to play outside.
