That Single Dad Life

I love my husband oh so much.

Let's just start by saying that. He is an amazing supporter, wonderful husband, involved dad, and it just so happens that he is on part of his vacation for the year.

Sixteen days of family time.
Sixteen days where I am at school a majority of the day and he is home with both kids.
Sixteen days where he looks like a frazzled house wife.

He's been so great watching the kids, grocery shopping, cooking and dealing with my crazy schedule it got me thinking about Valentines Day.

Let me get one thing straight here.

I HATE Valentines Day.

Which, if you know me, you may think is strange because I happen to love holidays. But not Valentines. I think you shouldn't need a day to show someone how much you love and appreciate them and that it should be an ongoing thing daily.

I was nursing my blogging addiction by reading Living in Yellow when I came across these cards by Row House 14  and they have the absolute CUTEST cards and stationary (most have a touch of crude humor) and I fell in love with this adorable little shop.

I love that the cards aren't blah, blah, blah, mushy, mushy, mush Happy Valentines but instead are completely awesome and something my husband would actually laugh and at enjoy getting rather than a mush card about how sweet he is.

I don't know, maybe some guys like that stuff but if I know my hubby and I do I know that he'd rather get a six pack/out doorsy something and a freakin awesome card than a couples massage and facial.

Not me though, I'd totally take the couples massage and facial.

Anywhoooo....

On a mushy truthful note, I am so lucky to have the husband that I have and I know that he has to put up with my crazy ideas and temperament and I just love him so much for it :)

Seriously ladies, he's tuckered out.

That single dad life wears a guy out.
