Foster 6 Month Update

Saturday, January 25, 2014

Age: 6 Months
Height: 24 inches
Weight: 17 lbs 3 oz
Milestones: Oh my, so much! He is crawling, he can sit up, he moves EVERYWHERE! He thinks the side tables are gymnasiums
Best Moment: All of them :) He is perfectly perfect in every way.
Health: Perfect. He's very advanced for his age. He had his 6 month check up yesterday and the Dr said everything looked great.
Eating: Awesome! He is now eating baby food (homemade-recipes to come) and loves the rice cereal. He is still primarily breast fed though.
Extra Comments: The spitting up is almost done and 3-ish days ago he decided to start sucking his thumb. Not exactly sure where that came from but I think he'll grow out of it :)

These past three months have been RIDICULOUS! No joke, between weddings, holidays, birthdays, travels, school, work, ext ext ext that I literally had no time to fit in to many blog updates. Which is why this month has been so scarce. That will change now though. We're getting back into a routine after having to schedule in when I am going to eat for the past month.

Check below his other pics to see exactly what I mean

If you follow my Facebook Page then you might have seen some of these already...but none the less this is what the past two months have consisted of.

And this is only for Foster, the man in the house with the least going on.

These past two months have been filled with:

Looking adorable in Santa hats while helping mom cook

Helping mom take pictures of weddings

Hogging the bed

Learning to sit up

Let me re-phrase, hogging moms side of the bed

Learning to roll from back to belly

Four month Dr's appt

Learning that fingers actually taste pretty dang good

But turkey and stuffing taste even better

And popsicles taste even better than that

Falling out of baby swings...twice

Looking adorable while sleeping

Playing with sister

Looking adorable in warm clothes after shots

Snowboarding

*shameless selfie*

Hogging the bed (and rolling off it)

Learning that riding in carts is actually way better than sitting in the carseat the whole time

And also carseat covers taste delicious

More sleeping adorably

Sleeping adorably in owl hats

Finding secret tunnels in the house

That homemade baby food is delicious

Three days ago he started sucking his thumb

AAAANNNNDDD on his six month birthday he had to get shots but then we saw Miss NM (who I actually grew up with and is from our home town) so that made it all better

I'm so mad at myself that I got behind on updates but am glad to be getting back into them now that everything is slowing down. I've had lots of requests for tutorials and recipes and as soon as I get back from Beauty and the Beast (the show out of town, Lo is going to love it!) I'll be back up to the 15+ posts a month instead of four...ohmigoodness 4 posts?! That's awful. I'm a slacker.
