I'm tired.
I said those words to my mom at least 76 times on our girls trip (with Foster) this weekend. It is literally my excuse for everything. Sorry I was staring, I'm just so tired. Sorry I look like a bum, I'm just so tired. Sorry dinner's not ready, I'm just so tired. Foster please go to bed, I'm just so tired. Before our Vegas trip I was coping pretty good with a baby who wakes up every hour. Let me tell you, getting off of my schedule was NOT a good idea even though I had an amazing time. I came home and it hit me like a bag of bricks. Suddenly getting up seemed impossible and now we're sleep training.
Let me just make this clear right off the get go.
Foster: 5 Parents: 0
We have yet to have a full night of baby in his crib and parents in their bed.
It makes me want to go back to Vegas just to lay in the huge jacuzzi tub and watch TNT without having to move. I tried to set up my laptop in the bathroom while I took a bath and Foster slept but after Lo coming in for the sixth time I realized it just wasn't the same.
I'm wondering how it's fair that he can be up all night and then just take an hour nap in the morning and be just fine and we have to stay up no matter what? A mid morning nap right now sounds absolutely divine. Even if I did try and take a nap and had the opportunity I wouldn't be able to fall asleep, thank you insomnia.
I do this thing where I just lay with my eyes closed. When I do tell Bryson I'm going to take a nap he says, "Have fun meditating."
You're probably like, "What does that picture have to do with being tired?" Well look how un-tired I looked just last week! How do I go from dressed up and ready for a full night of fun to worn down mom with dirty hair in yoga pants and a sweater covered in spit up?
So I'm not really sure what this post is about, but I'm just so tired so I can get away with it, right?

Hoping you can get a good night of sleep soon! You look fabulous in your pic!
Sorry sweetie know that little one just seems to not need a bunch of sleep-the one consolation has to be he is cute as a little bug. Let me know when ever you need me and I will stay with him and trick him with bottles. Hang in there he sooner or later has to sleep-right???
Mema
you look so cute!
You're not alone! My little one isn't sleeping much these days either. He has horrible eczema from some unknown allergy and he wakes up hourly because he's just so itchy. I have to rub lotion on him about 20 times a day and that still doesn't give him much relief. I'm so tired too! I actually get mad when other people with no kids or even my husband complain about being tired.. they have no idea what tired REALLY feels like, am I right!?
One day you will miss it...I think that's the saying? :) Hoping he sleeps through the night soon!
have you looked up the Ferber method? (I think?) when Elliette's schedule got messed up during the holidays that helped us get back to normal :-)
I'm sending resting wishes your way!
