One word, YUM! I love protein bars but 1) They're expensive and 2) All protein bars are not created equal
We're going on a trip this weekend and instead of loading up on gas station junk L and I decided while Dad was at work and we were packing anyways we might as well pack snacks! This is our first snack that we made this morning and they are YUMM-AY!
I did pretty much put the directions on the picture so if you wanted to pin it then the directions and ingredients would already be there :)

Ingredients
1/2 c Dates, pitted and dried
1/2 c Cranberries, dried
1 1/2 c Walnuts, chopped
2 scoops Protein Powder, vanilla
Recipe
1) Place cranberries and dates into blender and blend until they won't blend anymore! :) I added a little water for a sticky consistency. Transfer to mixing bowl.
2) Blend walnuts by pulsing the blender. DO NOT BLEND or you will end up with a nut butter. Add to mixing bowl.
3) Add protein powder to the mixing bowl and mix with your hands. When mixed roll into 1" balls.
To me they taste like those Lara Bars. They are really yummy and next time I may use less walnuts and add some almonds or peanuts
